The remainders are large scale graphite rubbings of each painting throughout their changing evolution.

The exhibition consisted of 5 paintings, with all their remainders (76 total) displayed horizontally on the platform. Stacked on the right and leafed to the left like an open book, they moved in sequence, until all remainders were shown, changing 2-3 times a day.

The remainders were placed on the platform in the order in which the paintings hung on the walls, from left to right: And-Hold, And/With, And: Now, And: Is, And-Knows.

At the beginning of the exhibition on May 2, remainder #1 for And-Hold was to the left on the platform, and #2 was to the right on top of the 74 remaining remainders. Starting on May 3, the remainders started their sequence.

Two to three times a day, the pages were moved from right to left, so that by the end of the exhibition, each remainder was shown, next to whichever came before or after it.

The remainders were leafed to the left by gallery staff or myself. Visitors could be present. Visitors were not allowed to touch or have the remainders paged through.
